Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Data Collection & Input Confidentiality

CodeUnpack does not store or log personal data or developer input values. The vast majority of our utility tools (formatters, minifiers, encoders, decoders, calculators, and converters) execute entirely client-side in your browser memory. Network tools (such as HTTP Request Tester and Server Header Checker) connect directly to user-specified target endpoints to perform requested checks. No inputs are stored or retained on our servers.

Anonymized Web Analytics

We use anonymized telemetry (Google Analytics 4) to monitor general site activity. This tracking aggregates non-identifying data such as page views, user location (country level), active durations, and navigation flows. We use this strictly to identify high-traffic features and guide development. IP anonymization is active.

Advertising & Cookie Disclosure

We display context-relevant ads via Google AdSense to sustain the site hosting infrastructure. Google may use third-party cookies or device identifiers to serve tailored ads based on your web activity on this and other sites. You can restrict or opt out of customized advertising directly via Google's Ads Preference Settings.

Cookie Usage & Storage Policy

We do not utilize tracking cookies of our own. The only local storage utilized by CodeUnpack is a simple key to cache your theme selection (dark/light mode) to prevent flashing layouts on page loads. Third-party vendors (Google Analytics/AdSense) may store persistent cookies in your browser.

GDPR & Privacy Rights

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and equivalent regulations, users have fundamental rights to request access, correction, or deletion of stored data. Since CodeUnpack processes all text/developer payloads entirely in browser memory and stores zero records, we hold no personal data archives to purge. For legal queries, reach us at privacy@codeunpack.com.

Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy. Any modifications will be posted to this page with an updated 'Last modified' timestamp. Your continued use of the platform denotes your awareness of our privacy frameworks.
